Eileen G. Delaney, 93, of Barnesville, OH., passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home.  She was born September 24, 1928, in York Township, Belmont County, a daughter of the late William and Eulah Mary Baker Kanzig.

Eileen was a retired employee of the former A&P food markets of Bellaire and Weirton, WV and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of St. Clairsville.

In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Delaney in 2022; a son, Gary Guthrie; siblings, Raymond Kanzig, Margaret Williams and Lester Kanzig.

Surviving are her sisters, Lenora Kocher of Alliance, OH., Stella (Clarence) Johnson of Louisville, OH and Hazel Brown of Wheeling, WV; a granddaughter, Kaylyn Guthrie of Philadelphia, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville with Chaplin Kris Bright officiating.
