Edwin Carl Holloway, Jr. 85 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died February 1, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born May 31, 1936, in Powhatan Point, Ohio a son of the late Edwin Carl Holloway, Sr. and Margaret A. Waters Holloway.

Edwin was employed by Navistar in Shadyside, OH. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Saints Club. Edwin was an avid fan of sports, especially of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Boston Red Sox.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Palmer; three brothers, Joseph, Timothy, and Chalmer Holloway; and two nephews, David Holloway and Charles Palmer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia A. Lentini Holloway; daughter, Lois A. (William) McAninch; sons, Edwin C. (Debbie Harker) Holloway III and Kenneth (Rosalind) Holloway; sister, Wilma Molkau; brother, Larry (Nancy) Holloway; grandsons, Ryan (Kristen) McAninch, Jacob Holloway and Theodore Holloway; and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
