Edwin Robert Grafton, 32, died at his home in Flushing, OH.

He was born October 27, 1987 in Wheeling, WV, a son of Roy R. Grafton and the late Susan F. "Sue" Harris Grafton.

Ed was a coal miner and diesel mechanic. He was a Union Local High School graduate and attended East Richland Friends Church. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Flushing and enjoyed fishing, hunting, making jerky and racing.

In addition to his mother, Ed was preceded in death by an infant brother, Roy Roger Grafton; and his grandparents, Robert "Pappy" Harris, Roy and Delores Grafton.

Surviving are his father, Roy Grafton; grandmother, Dorothy Harris; aunts and uncles, Allen (Randy) Harris, Cindy (Tom) Cook, Rodney (Anna) Grafton, Brenda Graham and Gary Grafton; cousins; best friend, Aaron Twarog; and his cat, Ruger.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating and burial in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family.
