Edward A. Roscoe, 77, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born on August 23, 1939 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, a son of the late Herbert H. and Marian I. Davis Roscoe.
Ed was owner and operator of Belmont Equipment in East Richland for 57 years. He enjoyed golfing; he was a member of the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church; a social member of the VFW Post #5356; a member of Weyer Lodge #541 F. & A.M. in Centerville, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Cambridge, Osiris Shrine in Wheeling and the Royal Order of Jesters in Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by two brothers, C. Paul Roscoe and Ralph Herbert Roscoe; and a sister, Shirley I. Johnen.
Ed is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Foster Roscoe; three sons, Jeff (Dana) Roscoe, Jim (Amy) Roscoe and Jason (Renee) Roscoe; eight grandchildren, Connor (Aubrey) Sherman, Nickolas Sherman, Emma Roscoe, Kyle Roscoe, Noah Roscoe, Elizabeth Roscoe, Rachel Roscoe, Jenna Roscoe; nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held at East Richland Friends Church on Friday from 3 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger, Rev. Wayne Ickes and Rev. Dave Ratliff officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
