Edward Dean Palmer, 73, of Alledonia, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Wheeling Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born February 27, 1952, in Belmont, Ohio a son of the late Lester William Palmer and Wilma Mary Wiggins Palmer.

Edward was a retired truck driver for Murray Trucking in New Martinsville, West Virginia. He was a member of the Woodsfield Eagles 2302 and enjoyed sitting on his porch.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Kay Palmer; three brothers, Charlie, Lester "Junior" and David Palmer; and one daughter, Leigh Ann Marie Palmer.

He is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Michael) Conrad and Tiffany (Trent) Abbott; five grandchildren, Scott "Scooter" (Lesley) Folden, Payton (Megan) Palmer, Leanne (Rusty) Peters, Paxton Palmer and Trinity Abbott; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Palmer; sister, Mary Schramm; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from Noon until 4 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville. Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
