Edward Harold Carrel, 89 of Black Oak Rd., Flushing, Ohio died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Liza?s Place in Wheeling, WV.
He was born September 13, 1920 in Fairpoint, Ohio, a son of the late Samuel B. Carrel and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Carrel.
He was a retired employee of B&O Railroad, an Army veteran of WWII, and a member of Flushing Alliance Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sonseeahray Tucker; 3 sisters & 6 brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Jacquelin Hayes Carrel; a son, Kenneth G. Carrel of Belmont, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dean Lancaster officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
