Young, Earl S. 79 of National Road West, St. Clairsville, Ohio died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born at Pittsburgh, PA on October 3, 1928 a son of the late Charles and Kathryn Keppler Young.

Earl was a retired business administrator having worked for Alcoa the CAC, Belco and Guernsey County MRDD. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at St. Clairsville the Land-O-Lakes Yacht Club and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Young.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carter Young; a son Richard Young and his wife Margie of St. Clairsville; two grandsons, Kevin Young and David (Karen) Young and three great granddaughters.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden officiating. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scout Program at First Presbyterian Church.
