Obituary

HUTCHISON, Earl Raymond, 92, of St. Clairsville, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Acuity Specialty Hospital at Trinity East, Steubenville.

He was born in Fulton, West Virginia, on April 11, 1920, son of the late Margaret Seabright and Lonnie Simmons. He was born again in Christ in 1939.

Earl was a retired employee of Ohio Power. He was a Graduate of Emmanuel Bible College in Elm Grove. He was a member of the Rock Hill Baptist Church in Flushing. Earl was formerly active in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Neola, West Virginia and was the Chaplain for the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Olive R. Rider Hutchison; three children, James Samuel Hutchison, Laura Jean Hutchison and Lonnie Hutchison.

Surviving are 5 children, Lloyd Wylie (Margaret) Hutchison of Harrisville, Lucy Snyder of St. Clairsville, Larry (Linda) Hutchison of Lafferty, Lauratta Ronevich of Barnesville and Lewis (Eva) Hutchison of Bellaire; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a half brother, Samuel Seabright.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating.
Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rock Hill Baptist Church in Flushing.
