Van Dyne
July 12, 1937 – May 26, 2018
He was born July 12, 1937 in Glencoe, Ohio, son of the late Everett James Van Dyne and Estella Mae Ogilbee Van Dyne.
Harold was retired from Banfield Heating, a former driver and superintendent from St. Clairsville-Richland Schools Bus Garage and a farmer. He was an avid John Deere collector and loved having a good time, making others laugh. He had a desire to help others in need by volunteering and he was a member of REACT.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Branz Van Dyne; a brother, James A. Van Dyne; and two sisters, Betty I. Van Fossen and Bessie J. Mulvaney.
Surviving are his wife, Ann L. Stewart Johnson Van Dyne; three stepchildren, Debbie (Dave) Hillman, Jeff (Michelle) Johnson and Kim (Mike) Logston; nine step grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Belmont County Senior Services or First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville.
