Dwight Edgar Adams, Jr., 43, of Vanceburg, KY passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 in St. Clairsville, OH.  He was born August 11, 1979, in Maysville, KY., a son of Dwight E. Adams, Sr. and the late Sherryl Ann Crawford Moses.

Dwight was a truck driver for Ryder Trucking.  He loved to write poems, tell you jokes and was an artist who could sing you a song or two.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joshua Adams.

Surviving are his father, Dwight E. Adams, Sr. of Vanceburg, KY; his daughter, Emalee Grace Adams; his fiancé, Amy Taylor and sons Danny and Chaz; stepdad, James Moses; a sister, Jennifer (Tranell) Brooks; two brothers, Garrett (Mary) Adams, Robert Kyle Adams (late Rebecca Adams); nephews, Gabriel and Kaedyn; niece, Shaelynn and Jeri and Tony Mills; many aunts, uncles and friends.

As per his wishes, no visitation or services are planned.  The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later time in Vanceburg, KY.

In lieu of flowers, donations for a college fund for Emalee will be set up and at this time can be made through Zelle 9378297484 (Jennifer).
