Dorrie Lynn Holstein, 56, of Bannock Rd. St. Clairsville, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born May 25, 1958 in Bowerston, Ohio, daughter of the late Ernest DaRe and Georgia Kelly DaRe Cox.
Dorrie was a medical assistant, and was a 1977 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and she had attended Belmont Technical College. She was a member of Trinity Gospel Fellowship in Flushing. Dorrie enjoyed gardening, flowers and camping.
Surviving are her husband, Shane Holstein; three children, Brady Chirik of Dillonvale, Blayne Chirik at home and Kristen Davidson; her brothers and sisters, Ernest "Bub" DaRe of Garden Grove, California, Joyce Rotundo of Clendening, Ohio, Becky Cadle of Leesville, Ohio, Kathy DaRe of St. Clairsville and Rick DaRe of Grove City, Ohio; mother-in-law, Sharon Corbin (Ron) Anderson of Elm Grove, WV; and father-in-law, Tom (Sharon) Holstein of St. Clairsville; many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday for a memorial visitation from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3 p.m., with Rev. Gary Smith officiating.
