Dorothy McGrath, 79, born in Riversville, Ohio and lived in St. Clairsville, Ohio and passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Pineview 1A Group Home with her staff at her side.

Dorothy was a long-time resident of ResCare living at the Pineview 1A Group Home and previously at the Mount Hope 2 Group Home.

Dorothy was the daughter of Gerald and Faye (Keaser) McGrath. Dorothy had two siblings: Marvin Lee McGrath and Cathy Mae (McGrath) Robinson.

Dorothy loved ALL things Christmas and Santa Claus! A tall glass of chocolate milk always made her smile! Dorothy loved to sing "When The Saints Go Marching In."

Dorothy was a special lady and had her own way of letting you know what she liked or disliked.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by her housemates and the staff that had the pleasure of caring for her over the years. Many considered Dorothy part of their extended family.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. and services at 1 p.m. followed by a private burial at Oak View Cemetery.
