Dorothy Jean "Cookie" Billetter, 70, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died August 25, 2018 at her home.

She was born May 5, 1948 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Andrew J. "Gump" Barnes and Helen Zajac Barnes.

She was an employee of Community Bank in Wheeling.  Cookie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.  She had been an Army wife for over 21 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Joseph Barnes.

Surviving are her daughter, Raeanne (Richard) Ameele of Phoenix, New York; two grandchildren, Dixon and Violet Ameele; a sister, Peggy (Terry) Schmidt of St. Clairsville; a brother, Richard "Dick" (Patti) Barnes of Twinsburg, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian Pettit officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
