Dorothy B. Henderson, 90, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born January 4, 1929 in Belmont county daughter of the late John C. and Ada Medley Campbell.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Bruce A. Henderson; her daughter, Karen (Larry) Fraleigh of Moundsville, West Virginia; a granddaughter, Melissa Fraleigh and her fiancé, R.C. DelaCruz; sister-in-law, Doris Ochs, step-brother, Wayne "Zeke" (Trudi) Ward, brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Detling and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary Campbell; a sister, Eileen Detling; step-brothers, Al Ward and Jerry (Ellie) Ward; brothers-in-law, Alfred Henderson, Paul Ochs and Jack Scarff; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Henderson and Wilma Scarff.

Dorothy was retired from Zatezalo Insurance and was a proud graduate of St. Clairsville High School where she had been a member of the band. She was a member of the St. Clairsville Alumni Association; was an honorary member of the St. C. Ruritan Club, a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she was a member of the choir. She enjoyed playing cards, going to St. C. football games, volleyball and basketball games. Dorothy also had passion for her Ohio State Buckeye Football team.  Her true enjoyment came spending time with family and friends and vacationing.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where visitation will again be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Homer Harden and Rev. Tim Wilt officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
