Obituary
Harris, Dorothy E., 97, of Flushing, Ohio died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Lanfair Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Lancaster OH.
She was born March 17, 1914 in Patterson Creek WV, a daughter of the late Henry and Rhea Hawkins and a widow since 1981 of Harold "Honey" Harris of Flushing.
Dorothy and Honey were proprietors of the Harris Restaurant in Flushing for many years and they were members of the Flushing Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter Mrs. Bonnie Ault and husband Larry of Lancaster; four grandchildren Lori Ault Menning and husband David of Avon Lake, OH; Jodi Ault of Columbus, OH; Scott Ault and wife Wendy of Bremen, OH; and Kraig Ault and wife Chantelle of Winston Salem, NC; four great grandchildren Ashley Bader, Amy and Miranda Ault and Nathan Ault.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Naomi Thompson and Thelma Campbell and one brother Harold Hawkins.
A graveside service will be held at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 with pastor David Powell of the Flushing Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Flushing Methodist Church.
