Dorothy F. Graham, 86, of Powhatan Point went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

She was born February 22, 1931 on Clover Ridge, a daughter of the late Omar Carpenter and Lula Walters Carpenter.

Dorothy was a homemaker and former employee of Shadyside Care Center and a member of Grandview Christian Church on Clover Ridge.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, baking wedding cakes and making candy. She was the most loving, caring and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that anyone could ever have, and the life of anyone who ever knew or met this beautiful soul was changed for the better.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 52 years, Kenneth R. Graham; also preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Kriechbaum, Evelyn Holtsclaw, Ray Carpenter and Floyd Carpenter.

Surviving are her three children, Robert (Kathy) Graham, Ronald (Kelley) Graham both of Powhatan Point, and Cathy (Scott) Russell of Plain City, OH; a sister, Opal Jenewein of Powhatan Point; a brother, Wayne Carpenter of Powhatan Point; 6 grandchildren, Kari (Tim) Reckart, Gavan (Jessica) Graham, Kali Graham, Morgan Graham, Zachary Russell, and Cierra Russell.

Friends will be received at Grandview Christian Church, Clover Ridge on Saturday from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial follows in Grandview Cemetery.

Rest in peace sweet mother, until we meet again in Heaven.
