Dorothy Jean Goddard, 74 of Armstrongs Mills, Ohio died Friday, January 14, 2005 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born December 18, 1930 in Armstrongs Mills. A daughter of Lela VanDyne Boston and the late Paul E. Boston.

She was the former owner/operator of Boston's Store in Armstrongs Mills and a member of the Armstrongs Mills Methodist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael A. Goddard; a brother, Starling Boston; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Boston.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Armstrongs Mills, are her husband, Glenn "Jim" Goddard; two sons, Glenn R. "Butch" Goddard and his wife Alice of Beallsville, Dennis Keith "Denny" Goddard and his fiancée Melissa Briggs of Centerville; two brothers, Earl (Gladys) Boston of Canton, Ohio and Burl (Billie) Boston of Massillon, Ohio; sister-in-law, Ruth Boston of Armstrongs Mills; grandchildren, Cara (Chet) Baker, Eric (Stacy) Goddard, Becky (Michael) Rogalski, Michael Goddard, Kimmy Goddard, Justin Goddard, Shawn Goddard, Alicia Goddard, Joshua Goddard; great grandchildren, Connor, Lance, Austin, Lauren, Rachel, Julia, and Jamie.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday with Rev. Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Burial follows in Armstrong Cemetery.
