Dorothy Jean Clark Coen, 79 of Brilliant, Ohio died Monday May 4, 2009 at Scioto Retirement Community in Columbus.

She was born June 12, 1929 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Robert R. Clark and Lena Saffell Clark.

Dorothy was a retired clerk from Mull?s Grocery in Brilliant, and a member of the Brilliant Volunteer Fire Department?s Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Coen in 2006; a brother, William Harvey Clark; a sister, LaDonna Stewart.

Surviving are a daughter, Marsha Lynn (Jim) Cerra of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sisters, Sheila Householder of Woodford, VA., and Rita Williams of Spotsylvania, VA.; brothers, Robert Clark of St. Clairsville, James Clark of Martins Ferry, Larry Clark of Fort Myers, FL., Donald Clark of Denver CO., and Merle Clark of Cape Coral, FL.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating. Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery.
