"Doris Milhoan - one of the sweetest ladies I have known.

Things I know about Doris, she was: Honest, kind, thoughtful, friendly, reliable, cheerful, hardworking, and humble.

We opened the Centerville Senior Center in 1999.  We served our first meal in the gym in November.  Doris was one of the first to arrive. She was so excited to see her friends that she had known for many years.  She was so excited to smile and greet everyone that attended.

Doris also served as our Vice President for the Senior Center Association for many years.  She was dedicated to keeping the Senior Center and the Smith Township Community Center going.  Doris was always willing to help with dinners and fundraisers.  All the members at the Senior Center would help Donna cook and pick chicken off the bones to be used to make baked chicken dinner. She also helped the Management Committee with our Turkey Bingo fundraisers.  She would sell a lot of 50/50 raffle tickets.  She would visit everyone that came through the door.

If you knew Doris, she always spoke what was on her mind.  In later years, she would always attend the Senior Center Christmas Party… we had the pleasure of her visit last Christmas, 2022.

She was one of our best members.  We will miss her."

"Rest in peace our sweet friend"

Love you Doris,

Donna Steadman
