Doris L. Efaw Jones, 84, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Forest Hill Care Center.

She was born October 10, 1934 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul E. Efaw and Ferol Bailey Efaw.

Doris was a homemaker and member of Thoburn United Methodist Church where she was very active in United Methodist Women's Circle and served on many committees. She also sang in the choir over 60 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin T. Jones; two sisters, Ruth Wade and Donna Spillers and a brother, Paul W. Efaw; and grandson, Aaron Holstein.

Surviving are her three children, Bruce (Doreen) Jones of Shakopee, Minnesota, Richard (Carol) Jones of Bethesda, Ohio and Sharon (Tom) Holstein of St. Clairsville; seven grandchildren, Jason Jones, Jeff Jones, Crista Stonebraker, Ross Jones, Collin Jones, Shane Holstein and Amy Holstein; several great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
