Donald Edward West, 56, of Powhatan Point, OH died November 30, 2019 in Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire.

He was born May 5, 1963 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Delmas H. West and Alta J. Holliday West.

Don was a former employee of Brian Electric, Shutler Cabinets and Buckeye Logging.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and digging ginseng.  He also opened the morning show every morning on Cool 105.5.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, David Elerick and Wayne Ravencraft.

Surviving are his five sisters, Darlene Elerick, Joyce Ravencraft, Donna (Chuck) Huber, Madelyn (Eddie) Brooks and Kandi (George) Heightland; his former wife, Cathy Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Powhatan Cemetery Chapel on Friday from Noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.

Memorial contributions may be made to the House of the Carpenter.
