Donald Edward "Donnie" Van Fossen, 72, of Fairpoint, Ohio, died March 30, 2025, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, West Virginia.

He was born September 16, 1952, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Robert A. and Grace E. Porter Van Fossen.

Donnie was a laborer with Local 1149 in Wheeling. He was a member of the Maynard Sportsman's Club, Fairpoint Polish Club and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Van Fossen.

Donnie is survived by a son, Donald Edward (April) Van Fossen Jr., two brothers, Gerald M. (Dianne) Van Fossen and Rich Van Fossen and grandchildren.

Memorial Visitation and service will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 2 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, with Pastor Kris Bright officiating.  Burial will be in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery.
