Donald Ray Skelton, 70, of Flushing, Ohio, died February 28, 2026, at his home.

He was born January 11, 1956, in Gastonia, North Carolina, a son of Eula Bell Killian Skelton Taylor and the late John D. Skelton.

Donald was a retired self-employed truck driver and a protestant. He enjoyed woodworking and watching NASCAR.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, George David Skelton, and two nephews, Christopher D. Skelton and Kegan J. Robinson.

Donald is survived by his mother, Eula Skelton Taylor; two sisters, Patty (Dan) Kocher of Jacobsburg and Calista (Darin) Getz of Grove, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Thursday for a memorial visitation from 2 p.m. until Celebration of Life Service to be held at 4 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, with Pastor Charles Swiger officiating. Private burial will be held at the Powhatan Cemetery.
