DONALD R. PRICE

Donald Richard Price, 93, of Bridgeport, OH, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, under hospice care at Belmont Manor, St. Clairsville, OH.  He was born December 1, 1926, in St. Clairsville, OH, son of the late Marcellus T. Price, and Rosa Jane (Jackson) Price.

Donald was a private contractor, primarily working in the Maryland and Virginia area.  He was an Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, Wheeling, and Macedonia Baptist Church, Wheeling, WV.  He loved watching all sports and playing poker with friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Marcellus, Clarence, Emmett, Charles, and sisters Frances Hayes, Thelma Newsom, and Jane Simms.

Surviving are a brother William Harold and Cora Price, of St. Clairsville, OH; daughters Brenda Price, Patricia Price and sons Gary Price and Donald Price Jr.; also survived by much loved nieces and nephews; and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no viewing.  A family service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Toothman Funeral Home, 141 S. Marietta St., St. Clairsville, OH.  Pastor Marshall Davis, Macedonia Baptist Church, Wheeling, WV, will be officiating.  Family should wear face covering and practice social distancing.
