McConnell, Donald Richard, Jr., 62 of Bellaire, Ohio died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at his home.

He was born June 25, 1948 in Newark, Ohio, a son of the late Donald McConnell, Sr. and Hazel Juanita Adams McConnell Sterling.

He was a retired employee of Imperial Glass and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a former member of the DAV, VFW, American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bellaire.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James & Paul McConnell; sisters, Nona Stewart and Juanita Johnson.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy J. McCloud McConnell; a daughter, Angel (Charles) McGarry of Bellaire; 2 grandchildren, Charles and Johna McGarry; a brother, John Allen (Dena) McConnell of Pittsburgh.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial follows in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire.

Belmont County Council of American Legions will conduct military honors at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
