Donald Lee McCloud, Sr., 69 of Morristown, Ohio died Sunday, January 17, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital after a 50 year battle with Juvenile Diabetes.
He was born December 25, 1946 in Glencoe, Ohio, a son of the late James Chester McCloud and Helen May Angus McCloud.
Don was a retired foreman for the former Tri State Plating in Wheeling and Martins Ferry. He was a Jehovah's Witness and member of Kingdom Hall in St. Clairsville and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a kind man, dedicated to his faith, family, and friends. He enjoyed walking the St. Clairsville Bike Trail with his loving wife, Mary Margaret McCloud and playing his mandolin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Margaret Bowman McCloud; daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth McCloud.
Surviving are a son, Donald Lee McCloud, Jr. of Morristown; sisters, Shirley (Les) Norman of Bethesda, Darlene (Dutch) Sams of North Carolina, and Nancy McConnell of Bellaire; brothers, Jim (Patty) McCloud of Belmont and Gary (Connie) McCloud of Lewisville; sister-in-law, Beverly (John) Tomolonis; brothers-in-law, Jerry, Pat, and Tom Bowman.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.
Burial follows in Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Ohio.
