Donald Samuel Henderson, 85, of Colerain, died Friday, April 24, 2015 in Liza's Place, Wheeling.
He was born December 17, 1929 in Maynard, Ohio, son of the late Alfred S. and Willella Brokaw Henderson.
Donald was a Brick Mason for over 60 years from local # 9 in Bellaire and a former employee of Consolidation Coal Co. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Merle and Roland Henderson; two sisters, Katherine Williams and Bethella Halloran.
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma Blemler Henderson; two sons, Barry (Mary Ann) Henderson of Wooster, Ohio and Brian (Jenny) Henderson of Bremerton, Washington; four grandchildren, Lindsay, Heather, Hope and Zachary; two great grandchildren, Audry and Lucas and one expected soon; a brother, Ralph (Dorothy) Henderson of St. Clairsville.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of Services at 11 a.m. in Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisville with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
