Donald Delmont "Del" Baker, 87 of Pleasant Grove, Ohio died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his home.
He was born July 16, 1928 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Donald L. Baker and Clara Agnes Mobley Baker.
Del was a retired employee of Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove with 35 years of service, a member of Harbor of Hope Church in St. Clairsville, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Craig A. Baker; brothers, Donald, Richard, and Ray; sisters, Patty Ludwig and Marjorie Ferrell.
Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Ethel M. Roscoe Baker; three children, David (Sherry) Baker of Middleton, VA, Penny (Daniel) Milhorn of Pleasant Grove, and Jill (Jeff) Allen of Pleasant Grove; sister, Mona; brothers, Roy and Ronnie; 5 grandchildren, Josh Baker, Heather Shapaka, Justin Allen, Jared Allen, and Abby Milhorn; 7 great grandchildren, Mackenze Baker, Madison Baker, Analise Baker, Jaxson Baker, Samuel Allen, Carter Shapaka, and Mirra Shapaka.
Friends will be received at Harbor of Hope Church in St. Clairsville on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dean Myers officiating.
Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor of Hope Church for Worldwide Missions.
