Don Stanley Kyer, 73, of Belmont, Ohio, died Monday, July 22, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was born March 28, 1951, in Richwood, West Virginia, a son of the late Jennings Arden Kyer and Inis Rigsby Kyer.

Don was a former employee and surveyor of the Saginaw Mining Company, he was the owner and operator of Kyer Surveying and retired from JHA Companies. He was a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio and West Virginia Society of Professional Surveyors. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and taking care of the farm.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Yvonne Brooks and Karen Kyer and two brothers, Jennings "Jack" Kyer and Marlin Kyer.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Marie "Beth" Kennedy Kyer; three brothers, Jerry (Sara) Kyer, Dale Kyer and Roger Kyer; a sister, Betty (Gary) Runion; a brothers-in-law, Bob (Cathy) Kennedy and Bill Kennedy; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Stitch.

Family and friends will be received will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday, August 3rd from 1 p.m. until time of the Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m, with Minister Rod Kasler officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
