Domenick E. Buonamici, 82, of Bannock, Ohio died April 4, 2020 in Trinity West Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio.

He was born October 7, 1937 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late Domenick and Caroline Bledar Buonamici.

Domenick retired after 55 years from Belmont County Engineering Department. He attended Bannock United Methodist Church. His interests and hobbies included: being a "Diehard" Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan, he enjoyed gardening, tending his tropical fish, shopping at local stores and flea markets where he never met a stranger. Instead of taking vacations he loved to paint houses.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta M. Fulton Buonamici and an infant great granddaughter, Sara Rose Twarog.

Surviving are two children, Diana (Robert) Twarog and Don E. (Robin) Buonamici; a sister, Irene Lovell; a brother, Jim (April) Buonamici; four grandchildren, Ryan (Crystal) Twarog, Kayla (J.J.) Klubert, Brendon Twarog and Dominique Buonamici; and five great grandchildren, Anna, Brett and Emma Twarog and Kristopher and Giuliana Klubert.

With the COVID-19 government recommendations, the family will have a private graveside service at Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio with Pastor Al Hodor officiating.  There will be a public gathering at a later time.  Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
