Dolores E. Witherow, 101, of Barnesville, OH., formerly of St. Clairsville, OH., passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Walton Home.  She was born July 6, 1920, in Mc Keesport, PA., a daughter of the late Walter C. and Alma Kim Schmidt, Sr.

Dolores was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Witherow in 1993; a brother, Walter C. Schmidt, Jr.; a sister, Lucille Slade; a great-granddaughter, Anna Witherow.

Surviving are her children, Marsha (David) Ward of Barnesville, James (Linda) Witherow of Crystal River, FL and Bob Witherow of Coeur D' Alene, ID; seven grandchildren, Katharine Cottrell, Mathew Witherow, Rebecca Witherow, Allen Dieterich-Ward, Michelle Gallagher, Casey Witerow and Rebecca Witherow; 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Chapel at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, McKeesport, PA on Saturday at 11 am with Pastor Paul Todd officiating.
