Dolores L. Burkhart, 90, of Bellaire, Ohio, on October 18, 2021, went to be with the Lord wearing sparkling pink where she was greeted by her loving husband Sam wearing a halo hat.

She was born February 16, 1931, in Shadyside, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clarence Ramsay and Ella Lucille Giffen Ramsay.

Dolores was a retired secretary from Bellaire Schools former Key Ridge School and a member of the Church of Christ in St. Clairsville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel J. Burkhart; a daughter, Molly Lu Leonard; a grandson, Mark Rose Jr.; two sons-in-law, Mark Rose Sr. and Pete Stephens; a sister, Wilma Caldwell; and four brothers, Harry, Howard, Laverne, and Harold Ramsay.

Dolores is survived by three daughters, Robin Stephens, Sue (Gary) Materkoski, and Lisa Rose; a son-in-law, John "Cash" Leonard; a sister, Wanda Hood; a brother, Clarence Ramsay Jr.; eight grandchildren, Alyson (Tyler) Brown, Kayla (Aaron) Crow, John Samuel Leonard, Katey Leonard, Matthew (Nori) Materkoski, Shana Materkoski, Chad Rose and Tyler (Shayla) Rose; and fourteen great grandchildren, Journey, Brynlee, Brittyn, Lochlyn, Waylynn, Tycen, Kennedy, Riley, Ella, Samuel, Ava, Aleah, Axton and Kamden.

Due to Covid 19 facial coverings will be required. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Private services for family will be held Friday, with Everett Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park.
