Divine Jacqueline Osso Smith, 95, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, took her last breath in Wheeling Hospital on April 24, 2022 and was reunited with her twin brother, Jack Osso.

She was born May 31, 1926, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Nepeziano "Nick" Osso and Innocenza Pate Osso.

Divine was a retired librarian from Belmont County Courthouse Law Library and the former Belmont Technical College librarian. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was sassy, spunky, and a beautiful soul, she gave everything and never asked for anything. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a graduate of Yorkville High School where she was a cheerleader having cheered at the All Star Game on Wheeling Island. Divine was known for her red velvet cakes and enjoyed travelling in her later years.

In addition to her parents and her twin, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nikki Hoder; a great granddaughter, Jamie Sargant; her brothers, Settimio "Zip", Fred, Joseph, Sandy Osso; her sisters, Carmella "Carm" Gorman, Jenny Kyre and Vera Osso.

Divine is survived by her children, Sharon (John) Giannaris, Eric (Rita) Smith and Karen (Tom) Pickens; a sister, Mary Moreland; grandchildren, Hans (Michelle) Hoder, Johnny (Debbie) Giannaris, Chris Giannaris, Philip (Michelle) Giannaris, Katie (Ross) Subasic, Jacob (Melissa) Smith, Amy (fiancée Tom Cole) Hinebaugh and Chris Kopyar; great grandchildren, Corbin Hoder, Jack, Alex and Luke Giannaris, Niko and Natalie Giannaris, Gabby Carr, Claire and Jack Subasic, Nate Smith, Braxton Hinebaugh, Tempa, Oli, Audrey and Roman Cole; and friend, Brian Hinebaugh.

Honoring Divine's wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
