Dennis Mitchell Williams, 69, of Flushing, Ohio, died May 8. 2023, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born August 9, 1953, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Henry Williams and Gladys Viola Gilham Williams.

Dennis was a retired employee of East Ohio Regional Hospital and formerly worked for Reichart Furniture and Heilig Meyers Furniture. He was a 1971 graduate of Union Local High School and a Christian by faith. Dennis was an avid coin collector and had an interest in old photography and cameras.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Daniel Williams; a brother-in-law, Richard Shinn; and a niece, Debbie Smith.

Dennis is survived by a sister, Viola "Frances" Shinn; two nephews, Daniel (Tricia) Williams and Mark Shinn; a niece, Michelle Coy; great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from Noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Morristown, Ohio.
