Delmas W. Caretti, 91, of Jacobsburg, Ohio died July 1, 2020 in Barnesville Hospital.

He was born September 10, 1928 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late Louis J. and Lillian Mellott Caretti.

Delmas was a retired employee of Conalco Aluminum Plant.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a life member of the Bethesda VFW and a 50-year member of Weyer Lodge # 541 F. & A.M.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, Vernon and Ronald Caretti, a sister, Lila Caretti and an infant grandson, Taylor Caretti.

Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Doty Caretti; four children, Delmas Tom Caretti of Jacobsburg, Daniel (Sharon) Caretti of Clarington, Carol (Keith) Myers of Bethesda and Cathy Caretti of Belmont; a sister, Ida Burzenski of Pittsburgh, PA; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

Private services were held Saturday at 11 a.m.  at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.  Burial was held in Powhatan Cemetery.
