Della O. Helms, 93 formerly of Clarksburg, Ohio died Monday, December 10, 2007 at Alter Care of Wadsworth, Ohio.

She was born February 26, 1914 in Hariettsville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cleo Miller.

Della attended school in Monroe County and graduated Salutatorian of Franklin High School, Class of 1934 in Stafford, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1989 by her loving husband of 53 years, Carl F. Helms; by a grandson, Carl and great granddaughter, Diedre; and by brothers and sisters, Glen, Ray, Vernon, Willard "Bill" Miller, Irene Stein, Minnie Stein, and Bernice "Bea" Dyer.

Surviving are her loving children, Cleo Helms (Robert) Kocher of Myakaa, Florida, Carol Helms (Frank) Sabatino of Grant Town, West Virginia, and Carl H. (Nancy) Helms of Rittman, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial follows in Glencoe Cemetery.
