Delbert Kidder, age 79 of West Pipe Creek Road, Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire, Ohio.

He was born December 23, 1924 at Bellaire, a son of the late Walter and Lula Mae Bell Kidder.

Delbert was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Steubenville Plant and a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Irene Rankin and Dorothy Eden.

Delbert is survived by his two brothers, Charles and Don Kidder both of West Pipe Creek, Jacobsburg; three sisters, Mae McMasters of Shadyside, Ann Knowlton of Bellaire and Thelma Kemp of Bethesda; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Donald Cordery officiating. Burial follows in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Key Ridge, Bellaire.

Full Military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of the American Legions at the funeral home following the funeral service.
