Forest Dean Harper, 69, of Belmont, OH died Friday, June 4, 2021 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville, OH.  He was born September 13, 1951 in Barnesville, OH a son of the late James Lewis "Buss" and Wanda Ruth Johnson Harper.

Dean was an equipment operator of the former R&F Coal Company, was the owner/operator of Harper Trucking, Belmont Mills, school bus driver for Union Local School District, a farmer and the A&A Construction Company/Anson.  He was a member of Ohio Valley Cattleman's Association, St. Clair Ruritan Club and a Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Charles and Donald Harper.

Surviving are his wife Billie J. Kirkland Harper of Belmont; his children, Dean Lee (Christen) Harper of Bethesda, OH., Andrea McCloud, Adreanna Harper and Aiden Harper all of Belmont; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his six precious dogs, Ava, Shelby, Elsa, CoCo, Zoey and Diesel.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating.  Final arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
