Younkins, David Lee, Sr., 65 of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his home.

He was born March 17, 1945 in Martins Ferry, a son of Thomas W. Younkins and the late Anna Yeater Younkins.

He was the former owner of Ohio Valley Appliance Service, a Navy veteran serving aboard the recovery ship USS Wasp.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Younkins, Jr.; a brother, Bruce Younkins.

Surviving in addition to his father and step-mother Marguerite of St. Clairsville are his two daughters, Denise Mazeska of Martins Ferry, and Michelle (Jeff) Theil of Colerain; two grandchildren, Hunter and Sara Theil; his former wife, Becky Conaway Younkins of Martins Ferry; brother, Tom (Janice) Younkins of Dillonvale; sisters, Sandy (Dave) Milovac of Bellaire and Marla (Kevin) Harris of Manassas, VA.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. with Joe Younkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
