David Alan Saunders, 36, of St. Clairsville, OH died September 28, 2020.

He was born November 10, 1983 in Wheeling, West Virginia a son of Donna Gooch Saunders and the late Donald "Rusty" Saunders.

Dave was a coal miner having worked for Strata Mine Services. He enjoyed fishing and watching Washington Redskin football.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his best friend, Dave Ruttencutter.

Surviving are his mother, Donna Saunders; his fiancée, Kayla Thomas; his daughter, Bailey Saunders; his son, D.J. Saunders; two brothers, Michael Pyle and Bill Roeder; two sisters Amber Roeder and Amy Deitz; nephews, Connor Roth and Jordan Roeder and a niece, Jianna Roeder.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 5 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. with Pastor Bill Wendell officiating.
