Henry David Pokwatka, 70, of Pine View Group Home, Belmont, and formerly of Lansing, Ohio died April 8, 2019 at his home.

He was born May 6, 1948 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late Florence Irene Pickford Pokwatka and Henry J. Pokwatka.

David attended Belco Works and was a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wolfhurst.

Surviving are his three brothers, Robert (Susan) Pokwatka of Bluffton, SC, Jerry (Leslie) Pokwatka of Myrtle Beach, SC, James (Diane) Pokwatka of Lansing, OH; a sister, Karen (John) Adams of Cochran, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
