David D. Loveless, 85 of Cindy Dr., St. Clairsville died Monday, June 12, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

He was born March 14, 1921 in Jackson, Ohio, a son of the late George Loveless and Gertrude Caldwell Loveless.

He was a retired employee of Ohio Edison at Dilles Bottom, a member of Clarksburg United Methodist Church, an Army veteran of WWII, and a member of Weyer Lodge # 541 F. & A.M. at Centerville, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Angus Loveless and a brother, Maurice Loveless.

Surviving are a daughter, Sheryl Clark and her husband Robert Gary Clark of St. Clairsville; a sister, Jane Angus of Stewartsville; a granddaughter, Jamie Lednik of St. Clairsville.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Joe Blon officiating. Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.

Weyer Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
