LODGE, David Lee Higgins, 38, of Tennessee, formerly of St. Clairsville, Ohio, was born Feb. 13, 1973 in Wheeling, WVa and died Jan. 5, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

David served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Higgins; and uncle, John Stan.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Byrge Lodge; his mother and father, Darlene and Dennis Lodge of St. Clairsville; a brother, James (Shellie) Higgins; three sisters, Erin (Travis) Carpenter, Ingrad (Dwayne) Tyo and Tara (Tim) Burnsworth; also two children, Brittany and Ryan Hickman of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Wayne Ickes officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio with Full Military Honors conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps.
