David A. Lantz, 52 of Wolfhurst, Ohio died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at the V.A. Medical Center in Pittsburgh. He was born at Wheeling on December 6, 1950 a son of Josephine Jurco Lantz and the late Charles V. Lantz, Sr.
David was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the Airborne of the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Wolfhurst.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Charles "Duke" Lantz, Jr.
Surviving are a daughter Devina Drazick of Casper, WY; his mother Josephine of Wolfhurst and his brothers, Michael Lantz of Senecaville; Robert Lantz of McKee's Rocks, PA; Richard Lantz of Martins Ferry and Edward Lantz of Dillonvale.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Mark Fraelich officiating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Belmont Co. Council of the American Legion.
