Grant, David M. Sr., 64, of Belmont, formerly of Senecaville, Ohio, died Jan. 29, 2010 at home.
He was born September 28, 1945 in Jacobsburg, Ohio, son of the late James and Freda Foulst Grant.
David was the retired owner and operator of Grant Contracting and was retired from Consolidation Coal Company # 3 Mine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his children, Bernell Hall of Holloway, David M. Grant Jr. of Senecaville, Shirella (George) Walls of Belmont, Kim (Tom) Garloch and Tina (Jim) Meager both of Glencoe; 9 grandchildren, Rick Hall, Charlie Hall, David (Brandy) Hall and Shiela Hall, Chad Walls, Dustin Walls, Nathan Walls, Abbi Walls and Alyson Grant; 8 great grandchildren; several sisters and brothers.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Monday from 5 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating. Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family.
