David Burlenski, 73, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died August 5, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born April 18, 1949, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Chester Burlenski Sr. and Katherine Androna Burlenski.

Dave was a retired self-employed contractor and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, and the Lansing Sportsman's Club. Dave was a proud Vietnam War Army Veteran, devout Catholic and firm advocate of God, Country and Family. Not blessed with children of his own, he was known to many family and friends as "Uncle Dave".

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Donna Mularcik Burlenski; three brothers, Chester "Bob" Burlenski Jr., Richard Burlenski and Dennis (Donna) Burlenski; a sister, Geraldine (Ronald) Zambori; a brother-in-law, Stephen Mularcik; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Due to COVID concerns, the family wishes all to wear facial coverings and social distance during a visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:30 a.m., with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Belmont County Veteran's Association.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's School in St. Clairsville or the American Heart Association.
