Darlene Sue Puckett, 76, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Liza's Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, West Virginia.  She was born August 6, 1947, in Wadsworth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Halford L. and Betty J. Morris Moore.

Darlene was a graduate of the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Dr. Robert Fannings office of cardiac care, and was a member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church.

She enjoyed being a Sunday School Teacher, being a pianist and organist for the Harrisville United Methodist Church and loved to read and listen to music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Puckett in 2020.

Surviving are their children, Lisa (Damon) Brooks of Cadiz, Ohio, Larry James (Liz) Puckett of Wilmington, North Carolina, Bryan Puckett and Kristy (John) Anderson both of Florida; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Rev. Dr. Jerry Wenger officiating.  Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio.
