Darlene Elizabeth Bumgardner, 79, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.  She was born June 27, 1945 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Mary Funkhouser Paskel.

Darlene retired from the St. Clairsville-Richland City School District as a bus driver and cafeteria worker and was a Christian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert "Zip" Bumgardner; an infant daughter, Crystal Bumgardner; brothers, John, Gerald and Michael Paskel; a sister, Mae Turkal.

Surviving are two sons, Delbert R. (Theresa) Bumgardner of Bethesda, Ohio and Ronald (Mindy) Bumgardner of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Marguerite Nolen of Niles, Ohio and Agetha Campbell of Barnesville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Delbert Ray Bumgardner, Ashley (Keith) Blake, Tiffany Bumgardner, Autumn (Logan) Kyer, Cody Bumgardner and Elizabeth Bumgardner; on great granddaughter, Aubrey Kyer.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 pm until time of funeral services at 7 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Dean Myers officiating.  Burial in Warnock Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
