BROOKS, Darlene L., 55, of Jacobsburg, died Friday, August 12, 2011 at Belmont Community Hospital.
She was born in Bellaire on July 21, 1956, daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Brunner Brooks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil "Evan" Brandon.
Surviving are 3 brothers, Don Brunner of Columbus, Eddie (Madelyn) Brooks of Powhatan Point and Earl (Janice "Pie") Brooks of Jacobsburg; 3 sisters, Nancy (Bill) Graham of Jacobsburg, Mary (Sammy) Baker of Powhatan Point and Delores "Boo" (Levi) Haslam of Clarington; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Monday at Noon. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
