Darla E. Wright, 78, of Bethesda, Ohio died February 16, 2017 in Regency Hospital of Cleveland, Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
She was born August 12, 1938 in Warnock, Ohio daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Brocklehurst) Parish.
Darla was a retired cook from the Oakview Juvenile Residential Center in St. Clairsville. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bethesda and member of the VFW Auxiliary in St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Anthony J. DiPerna and her second husband, James A. Wright; two granddaughters, Shayna Adamson and Celeste DiPerna.
Surviving are her four children, James (Jackie) DiPerna of Bethesda, Ohio, Robin (Robert) Thomas of St. Clairsville, Ohio, David (Erin) DiPerna of Medina, Ohio and Debi (Dave Pearcy) Mahon of Walkersville, Maryland; Darla's companion, Charles "Buck" Maloney of Jacobsburg; a brother, Ralph "Bud" (Gitta) Parish of Gardners, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Beverly (Ed) Costa and Marilyn Pubal both of St. Clairsville; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Brian J. Bee officiating. Burial will be in Warnock Cemetery, followed by a reception at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
